Dr Joseph Power offers consultations to the following patient groups

• Assessment and treatment of ADHD in adults. 
• Gender-supportive and sexuality-supportive care for transgender/non-binary/LGBTQIA+ patients. Dr Power provides assessments and WPATH letters for patients seeking gender-related medical and/or surgical care.

He does not consult on Work Cover, TAC & compensation matters. 

He does not provide medico-legal services or independent medical opinions. It is recommended to search the RANZCP “Find a Psychiatrist” service to identify a psychiatrist with the appropriate expertise for other specific psychiatric conditions. 

Please note that he does not accept referrals from "Instant" or "online" referral services. Referrals must be from your usual treating GP to ensure continuity of care.

Dr Power is not able to provide emergency or crisis consultations & recommends that patients consult with their General Practitioners or local area Mental Health services, should they require urgent attention.
